Zoning Dictionary

A facility with equipment designed to heat and dry aggregate and to mix aggregate with bituminous asphalt to produce asphalt paving material, and includes stockpiling and storage of bulk materials used in the process but which is not of permanent construction and is designed to be dismantled and moved to another location as required.

Any equipment for the crushing, screening or washing of sand and gravel aggregate materials, but not including a concrete batching plant or an asphalt plant, which equipment is capable of being readily drawn or readily propelled by a motor vehicle and which equipment is not considered permanently affixed to the site.

A facility at a fixed location having not more than one storage container and such container shall not have an aggregate propane storage capacity in excess of 50,000 litres and from which no retail sale of propane fuels to the public is or may be affected.
