Zoning Dictionary

Any land on which the predominant economic activity consists of raising chickens, turkeys, or other fowl, the raising of fur bearing animals, the raising of swine, goats, horses or cattle on feed lots, the raising or boarding of dogs or cats or the growing of mushrooms.

A person whose principal occupation and source of income is farming.

The production of plants and animals useful to man, including the breeding, raising or maintaining of livestock, fur farming, fruit growing, the keeping of bees, fish farming, greenhouse farming, hydroponics farming, vegetable growing, tree growing and sod farming.

An area used for feeding of livestock as an accessory use only to farming activities.

Any tract of land or structure, pen or corral, wherein cattle, horses, sheep, goats and swine are maintained in close quarters for the purpose of fattening such livestock for final shipment to market. A confined land area for fattening cattle or other animals or temporarily holding such animals for shipping.

The general raising and harvesting of wood and without limiting the generality of the foregoing shall include the raising and cutting of fuel wood, pulp, wood, lumber, Christmas trees and other products.
